Well our second night home was a little less exhausting than the first,...I'm very grateful to have Andrew home to help me, as well as the help we've had from our family. The animals are very curious about her, but are starting to get use to her I think. The dogs may even be as tired as we are LOL.
I can't even begin to explain how incredibly in love I am with our precious little peanut. I was holding her earlier and talking to her and just burst out in tears,... it just all hit me. She's mine,... and she's perfect. I knew I was going to love her, but I never realized just how much. We waited so long for her and I can't believe she's finally here,... it still seems a little surreal. I can't get enough of her. Now of course I can't stop crying and that could be partly due to my hormones and lack of sleep,... but I just really needed to get it all out by writing it down, but not even words can express what I'm really feeling inside.
I can't wait to celebrate our first Christmas as a family of three. I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.

The new love of my life
On December 15th, 2011 a 6lb 10 oz 20 inch tall little angel came into my life at 1pm on the dot. Her name is Jillian Michelle Bosler and I absolutely can't get enough of her.
I had a dr appointment on Tuesday (the 13th) and was frustrated to find out that there hadn't been any real change since they checked me two weeks before. So after complaining, I woke up on Wednesday feeling crampy and a little nautious, so not feeling well I just kinda layed around all day doing nothing. Andrew woke up and we watched a movie together and then he started to get ready for work. I had had a few contractions during the movie but they started getting farther apart and then close together again. Then around 10 pm, Andrew left for work and I tried to go to sleep thinking they would go away but timed them anyway just in case. Around 11 when the contractions didn't stop I called the on call dr because they were coming about every 5-7 min. She was in a c-section and didn't call me right away and I had to get up and start walking, drink some water and do whatever else to see if they were going to go away because I couldn't get to sleep. Finally I called again around 12:45 and talked to the nurse that was with the dr and she said if they didn't get farther apart after another hour to go ahead and go in. I called Andrew and he left work and we went and walked around Meijer and they started getting closer together. I used the bathroom and my entire mucus plug came out (tmi sorry). We left Meijer after about an hour of timing them and me not being able to walk or talk through them. We got to triage at about 3am and I was only 2 cm, but fully effaced and baby was at -1 station. (I had only been 1 cm at appointment the day before). Since I was fully effaced they admitted me, and honestly I was a little skeptical that anything was going to progress but we walked the halls, got on the labor ball and just kept moving around. But my contractions did get stronger and much closer together,...so I decided this must really be the real thing. The on call dr arrived about 7 am but had a c-section to do and so he didn't check me until about 9 or so,... but when he checked me I was 6-7cm! (And by this time I was on over 24 hours with no sleep). My birth plan was to try and do my labor without any intervention, but we all know things can change,...I started having really strong back labor and decided to take something to help take the edge off. I took half a dose not long after the dr checked me and then again when I was 8 cm. It only took about 3 hours for me to get to 10 cm, I suddenly felt the urge to push and 40 min later at exactly 1pm our beautiful baby girl was born! It still seems so surreal and I can't believe she's ours!! She's so perfect and we've waited a very long time for her! Nursing started off a little rocky but she's definitely starting to pick it up.
We will post more pictures when we can get them off our camera. Until then thank you to everyone for all the wonderful thoughts and comments and we can't wait for everyone to meet her!

2 weeks till Christmas
And of course till Baby Bosler is scheduled to make his/her debut. I am so anxious and ready to meet our little one!! We'll see if I make it till my due date or not,.. or if I go past (which I hope is not the case). We are all ready for his/her arrival... car seat base is installed, nursery is done,... just need a baby. Not much to update on,.. have a dr. appointment on Tuesday, we'll see if I've progressed more since they checked me the day before Thanksgiving. I'm hoping so, because then I may not make it till the 25th!! EXCITED!! My other shower was great, we got the remaining big items that we needed. Thank you so much to Arlene and Mickey for throwing it and to those who could make it, I appreciate everyone who could be there to celebrate with us =).
According to a few people I have "dropped", whatever that means,...=)
Our tree is up and we are all decked for Christmas,...just need to wrap presents. So excited for the holidays this year!! =)

The Home Stretch!
With less than 4 weeks to go, the anticipation is building! I don't know how much longer I can wait!!! I know the baby will come when he/she is ready,... but I'm ready now! lol Got checked last Wednesday and my body is already starting to prepare, so it makes me hopeful that I at least won't go past my due date,.... I just want to make it to my shower this weekend, I'll be 37 weeks and the baby can really just come any time. I really feel like this kid wants out anyway,... I was unable to lay on my right side last night because I either had some crazy pain in my left hip (and it felt better to lay on it), or the baby was kicking and stretching really hard into my left side, which kinda hurt lol but stopped when I would lay on that side. I didn't even know my skin could stretch that much more, it was crazy! Needless to say my comfort level is decreasing by the day,... but I must say I have been very blessed with a great pregnancy. Yes I have or have had complaints here and there, but I've really enjoyed being pregnant. I'm just at the point now where I just really want the baby out so I can hold him/her and kiss his/her little face. Seems like just yesterday we found out we were pregnant after trying for so long,... and soon our little peanut will be here! Andrew and I are both so excited!!
Another update to come soon,... but maybe the next one will be our birth story =). Only time will tell.

WOA!
Only 40 days left to go!! CRAZY!! I can't believe it! This is has gone by so incredibly fast,... and I am getting so anxious to meet our little one, but I know he/she needs to bake a few more weeks. BUT I also know he/she will be here before we know it! I'm so incredibly excited. It's going to be weird not having this baby inside me anymore, I'll miss feeling him/her squirm around but I cannot wait to hold him/her in my arms.
I feel like the baby is trying to crawl out through my skin LOL, he/she has been so incredibly active today. Lets hope baby stays head down, which I'm pretty sure he/she is. I have my last 2 weeks appointment on the 23rd and then after that I will be going every week,...just goes to show how close this is really getting!! I think full term is 36 or 37 weeks,... so just a couple more short weeks I'll be considered full term and this baby really could make an appearance any time! I haven't been this anxious for Christmas to get here since I was like 10,... =D!!!!!!!!!
Our last Lamaze class is tomorrow, we get to tour the hospital so I'm excited. I recommend the class to anyone who is a first timer, whether or not you need/want the breathing techniques there is also tons of good info on medications offered, c-sections, signs of impending and actual labor, etc. I feel so much more prepared now than I did before taking the class.
On a different note, I am so excited to see Breaking Dawn part 1 on Saturday with Jess!! I can't wait!!! I'm a little sad I won't be able to do the midnight showing this time, but that's life! =)

It's getting close!
Approximately 7 more weeks to go,... =). Nothing incredibly new to report. Baby has been very squirmy and Andrew got to feel hiccups the other night. I'm starting to more anxious,..nervous,.. excited,.. you name it I'm sure I'm feeling it. LOL. Our lamaze class is going well. Along with the techniques we are learning we are also getting a ton of helpful info. So that's good. We have two more classes to go and one of them we are touring the hospital. We are going to Saint Joe and I've never been there since it's new so that will be helpful to see where we will be. Since it's farther from Memorial lets just hope the big storms hold off until AFTER the holidays... =P.
I'm getting excited about my next shower which will be Dec. 3rd! yay! I'm also really looking forward to Thanksgiving and decorating for Christmas. I have been seeing tons of commercials for holiday sales,... just means Christmas is right around the corner and I need to get my shopping done sooner rather than later. Christmas will be here before we know it!! I can't wait to meet our little one and see if we are having a boy or a girl!!! =)
So my due date club on babyzone was playing a game I thought was kind of fun and I'd like to see what your guesses are for our baby bosler =). Then when he/she arrives we'll see who was the closest,... sorry no prize though =P
Fill in your guesses:

10 more weeks, and counting!
30 WEEKS!! Only (about) 10 more to go,... eeeeh!! Getting excited, especially after having my first shower yesterday! I would like to say a HUGE thank you to my sisters who did an awesome job with my shower. They put a lot of work into it and it turned out really cute! Also a big thank you to everyone who could make it. I loved seeing everyone.
The baby is much more squirmy lately, and loves to keep me from going to sleep =P. He/She also loves messing with people and stops kicking when they try to feel my tummy. Loves to joke around already,... just like daddy! I'm feeling pretty good other than some heartburn and I'm tired a lot,... sleep is becoming harder and harder to come by when it's so hard to get comfy and I wake up every two hours or so for the bathroom. But this will soon be over and it will all be so very worth it! Even though I may complain about sleep and other things, I have really enjoyed being pregnant. I smile every time I feel the baby move,... but I just cannot wait to meet him/her and see if we have a little Jillian or Jacob on our hands.
I have appointments every two weeks now. The dr. says I'm right on track, everything is measuring right, baby's heartbeat is great and everything is looking good =)
I will be posting pictures from my shower as soon as I get them off my camera. But for now here's my 30 week pic. =)

Getting Excited!
Holy. Crap. We have less than 80 days to go (about 11 weeks!!)!!!! So excited for my first baby shower next weekend! I absolutely cannot wait!! =D
I cannot believe how warm it is this week, I was actually enjoying the cooler weather. I love seeing all the pretty fall colors, but the changes in weather is definitely getting me more and more excited (and nervous) because that means winter isn't far away,... and neither is this baby! Heck I was at Meijer earlier and they are already starting to stock the shelves with Christmas decorations,... Halloween hasn't even happened yet LOL.
This past weekend Andrew and I finally got some organization going to the baby's nursery and it's not all cluttered with stuff anymore. So now when I have my showers I will actually have a place to put things and feel a little more organized and prepared. It's a little crazy how I've been kinda freaking out about having things ready,... I'm usually a procrastinator and put things off till the last minute,... but not right now. Must be nesting? I thought nesting meant like being obsessive about cleaning and stuff like that,... I have gotten more annoyed with messes but not crazy about it, just want to have things organized and ready for the baby.
Well here's some pictures to the start of the nursery. Enjoy =)

Third Trimester!
Most books or websites say the third trimester starts at 27 weeks, others say 28 weeks,.. either way I am 27 weeks and 5 days and I'm just going to say we're there! Kinda crazy that I only have about 12 more weeks to go!
I had my 1 hour glucose test today and am happy to say that I passed with a 107 (above 130 is bad) and will not have to do the yucky 3 hour one and drink that sugar crap again. It was kinda gross and tasted like an overly sugared, melted popsicle. ugh. My DA went well, dr. measured me and I'm right where I should be. Everything is looking good and I am now going to be going every 2 weeks for my appointments. The baby's hb was in the 140's-150's,... he/she was moving around so it was a little higher than last time, but good and healthy =).
My first shower is in a couple of weeks and I am so excited!! I know my sisters are going to do a great job with it! My plan is to get the closet cleaned out this weekend in the baby's room so I can start organizing!! I have to have places to put things! Tomorrow is the first day of October which means I have less than three months before this baby arrives,.... and it's better to get it done now than later.
Hope everyone who's around this area enjoys the Apple Fest weekend,.. that is if it will ever stop raining! And Happy October!

Double Digits!
So I am 26 weeks today, that means we have roughly 14 more to go,... and we hit double digits yesterday!! As of today we have 98 days until Christmas and our little sweet pea is due! He/she has been very active, but it comes and goes. Yesterday was very active, so today must be rest time lol, he/she must be wore out. I was at my sisters and we were watching my tummy jump and do a couple of rolls. I've never paid attention enough until yesterday to actually watch it because I was always trying to feel it with my hand. So that was pretty cool to see.
I have my glucose screening in a couple of weeks as well as getting my Rogam (sp?) shot since I am rh negative. I get the shot once when i am 28 weeks and then again after I give birth to protect any future pregnancies. The baby's room is coming along nicely, we have our crib, crib bedding, swing/bouncer combo and a bassinet that has been passed down to me from my sisters. That will be nice to have for the first few weeks since hopefully I'll be nursing and can have the baby right next to the bed. I bought some material to make some valences for the windows and we have the knobs for the dresser. Now I need to start getting the closet cleaned out and start organizing things so that when I have my showers I have places to put things LOL. I guess maybe I should have done that a couple months ago when I was starting to feel antsy about not having anything yet,... oh well.
Not much else to update,... getting bigger and really starting to feel like it. My movements are very restricted,.. like trying to tie my shoes,... Andrew helps me but when he's not around I can't do it myself, I can barely get my own socks on lol, so I bought some slip on tennis shoes yesterday and they are awesome! I highly recommend them! Well here's some pics to leave you with =) enjoy!

Is it September already?!
Well it seems the time is just flying right by, which in a way is good. But I can't believe it's already September! I am 24 weeks today, which means that if baby was born early it would have a good chance of surviving. But lets just pray that he/she keeps baking for awhile, because the longer the baby is in there the better chance he/she has. Only 16 more weeks to go,... it's going to be here before we know it!! I'm scared, nervous, excited, overjoyed,... just a huge mix of emotions.
I love feeling the baby move around and kick,.. except for when I'm trying to sleep! =P We had our last ultrasound on Thursday which was great. They were mainly wanting to see the heart and we saw all 4 chambers and watched it beat. They said everything looked great!! yay!! The baby was sitting breech and the heart was right under my belly button so the ultrasound tech had some trouble getting the views she needed, but got them eventually. The hb was at 140 which was a little faster than last time (132), but it's always been in a good healthy range.
We have our crib all set up and we have the knobs for the dresser. I'm incredibly frustrated with Target right now, because I still can't sign into my registry to be able to update anything online. I can view it as a guest but I cannot sign in to add, delete or change anything. I went there on Friday and can't even sign in at the kiosk,... so I couldn't even add or update in the store if I wanted to!! I'm so mad!!! I am going to be incredibly ticked off if I have to redo my entire registry,... why the heck did they have to go and change their stupid website!!! GRRR!!! My first shower is in just over a month and it's going to be a pain in the butt for people shopping for me too,... I know I am receiving at least one of my bigger items soon, and it's not off my registry. UGH. Sorry just had to vent! LOL
Well I guess there's not much else to update on, so I'll leave you with some pictures. Hope everyone has a safe and fun labor day!!
My belly looks slightly smaller to me than in my 20 week picture,.. it could have been partly my posture or maybe the the baby was sitting that day,.. who knows.
Love The Boslers =)

Getting a little anxious!
Well I am 22 weeks and 1 day, only 18 more to go! wow! I can't believe how fast it's flying by! We're heading into the beginning of month 6. My first baby shower is in about a month and a half, and I am so excited! I'm ready to get some more stuff and get the baby's room decorated. At least we have our crib! Next big thing I'm hoping for is my Travel System so we have our carseat,... can't bring the baby home without it!
Definitely been feeling more kicks. I have to be laying real still otherwise I guess I don't feel them or realize they are happening. But they are definitely getting stronger and I can't wait till we can feel them on the outside. Baby sleeps for about 12-14 hours at a time, and is now about the size of a papaya! He/she is almost a foot long in length and weighs anywhere between almost 13-21 oz!! By the end of this week, he/she will just have been gaining some weight and may have even grown in length a little bit, so no big changes this week. I don't really have too many complaints other than some back pain and being able to get comfortable,... other than that I am actually really enjoying being pregnant right now. I'm sure that will change once I get even bigger and more uncomfortable, but right now I'm in a good place. =) I really should get us signed up for some birthing classes!! I keep forgetting,.. which has been an ongoing trend lately LOL. I can't ever seem to remember anything,...
I'm starting to get a little more anxious as my third trimester approaches and have started having a lot of dreams about giving birth,... I'm not really scared or freaked out, just anxious and not really sure what to expect or how I am going to react when I'm in that situation. I could see it going one of two ways,.. me freaking out or me being incredibly calm. We shall see. I just know that either way, Andrew will be my support through it all, and I know he'll be great! We both just can't wait till we have our precious little one here,... we've waited so long for him/her! I had a really weird dream last night (and this was not the first time I've had this dream) and it was mostly about breastfeeding and I didn't have any milk,... I'm going to take that as I'm worried that my milk won't come in. I plan on breastfeeding and really want to do it, I feel like it's a great way to bond and connect with the baby,... but I guess I am a little concerned that "what if I can't." I have no idea if there's anything I can do to increase my chances of my milk coming in or how much I get,... and does it come in before the baby is born or after and how soon after? I just don't know these things!
I know anxiety is normal and I am trying not to worry about things,... I just want to feel prepared! 18 weeks isn't a very long time, and it's going to be here before we know it. I mean,.. we're heading into September soon for goodness sakes! I haven't even started Christmas shopping,... ahh! I just don't know how to prepare myself for something I've never been through,... yeah everyone's willing to offer up their own experiences, but it's not the same for everyone, and I feel like it's one of those things that you have to go through yourself to really know. It may end up being better or worse than I'm imagining it to be. Who knows,...
Well I have no belly pics or anything to leave you with this time, so I'll leave you with some of my pictures I took over 4th of July weekend.
Love, The Boslers =)

Half Way There!!!!
20 weeks and counting,... we are at the half way point!! 4.5 more months to go (give or take). Been feeling good, nothing really to complain about other than every time I take a belly picture to share I feel huge,... I'm starting to regret sharing them lol. I don't feel that big until I see it in the picture,... I know everyone grows different and carries different, but holy moly, should I be this big already??!! I get heartburn/indigestion a lot, no matter what I eat, which is a pain in the butt, but I take some tums or chew some gum and it gets a little better.
We had a Dr. appointment and ultrasound on Thursday. Everything is looking good, baby is growing right on track. Weighed 13 oz and I don't remember how long. U/S tech said we are right in where we should be. They couldn't get a clear look at all 4 chambers of the heart, so we get to go back again for another u/s in 4 weeks and I am so excited!! I love seeing the baby!! When we first got there the baby must have been sleeping, because he/she was all curled up in the fetal position laying still. When the u/s tech started prodding with the wand the baby started squirming around some more. Even if we had wanted to know the gender (which we don't) we would not of been able to find out cause baby had it's legs crossed. He/she also had their hands up by their head like they were trying to cover their ears and tell us to be quiet LOL. The u/s tech did say that my placenta is "anterior", that it's more in the front so it may take a little longer to feel those big kicks. That made me feel a little better since I've still been only feel light movement. I've heard that once the baby gets to be about a pound is when they are big enough to kick hard enough through all that extra padding the placenta provides. So another couple weeks,... give or take.
Woke up this morning feeling stuffy and sneezy, my sinuses are draining and irritating my throat =/. I was gonna do some shopping today, but I feel like poo so I'm not going anywhere. Staying home and resting.
We have one big item out of the way!! Andrew's parents bought us our crib!! yay!! One less thing to worry about. Now, to get Andrew to put it together =P.
Here's some pictures, enjoy!!
Until next time,

Nothing New
So not much to update on, I'll be 18 weeks tomorrow. Been sleeping kinda crappy lately, I'm always tired but can't ever seem to fall asleep. When I do get a good night's sleep though I do feel much more energetic, which is good. I also feel like I'm always starving,... all I want to do is eat. Dinner time is the worst, if I get too hungry, fair warning stay away I get MEAN. lol All of a sudden today I decided to deep clean my house,... I think my nesting phase may have kicked in?? The dog hair has been completely driving me nuts!! Andrew even vacuumed and cleaned out the car for me cause I was so annoyed by it. I am in the process of taking a break from cleaning to eat some lunch and then I need to run to the store for some more cleaning supplies. I really want one of the those steam vac's, I have heard really great things about them, and I think I would be more apt to mop more often if I had one but they are kind of expensive. I wish carpet wasn't so expensive, I'd much rather vacuum than sweep and mop,... oh well. Baby's room is painted, baby dresser is re-finished and just needs new knobs. I feel like I should be doing more to get the baby's room ready, but there's nothing to do yet, cause we don't have anything! I feel like the past few weeks have gone by fast, and so I feel like the due date is going to creep up on us and we're not going to be prepared,... but I guess maybe that's normal? Tuesday I had my first experience with round ligament pain,.. that wasn't fun to say the least. Don't want that to come back again anytime soon,...
Oh I almost forgot to add that I think I may have felt the first kick the other day. Not sure if that's what it was or a muscle spasm, but it sure caught me off guard and made me jump. It only happened the one time and hasn't happened since, so hopefully soon,...
Well I guess I'll leave you with another picture, I'll have more ultrasound pics in a couple weeks. Until then,..

Time is flying by!
16 weeks today and counting,... time sure has flown by. Only 4 more weeks and we'll be at the half way point! crazy! Soon we will be able to feel our little one moving and kicking =) and we can't wait!! Sometimes I think I still feel some flutters but it's so hard to tell it apart from gas,... it will be nice when I feel that first unmistakable kick, and Andrew can feel it too. It will just be so reassuring to me to feel him/her move! We had a checkup on Thursday, got to hear the heartbeat again. Doc said it was around 145-150, which she said is great. I know it's supposed to get lower as time goes, but it worries me every time that it's different. At my last appointment, when we had my ultrasound, it was at 158. It just seems like a big change in only 4 weeks time or however long it's been. Anyway she said everything looked good =)
Baby's now the size of an avocado!
Watch what you say...tiny bones forming in baby's ears mean she can now pick up your voice. A few more minuscule changes: Eyebrows, lashes, and hair are starting to fill in, and taste buds are forming. (4.6 inches and 3.5 oz) - thebump.com
I am still pretty tired,.. some days are better than others. It seems though that the new bed has helped a lot. I have had major mood swings, and my poor husband has been the only one in my war path =( (sorry babe). He's being a good sport though, taking it all with a grain of salt and trying to help me and comfort me how he can. Though I'm sure he's not going to be ready for this again anytime soon =P. I gag really bad when I brush my teeth, and unfortunately my doctor said that's not going away,... It's worse in the morning when I have an empty stomach and I end up dry heaving, so I have been trying to make sure I have something, even if it's just a banana, in my stomach. The past two nights, idk what it is,.. acid reflux or heartburn or what, but I burp a lot and get this weird burning sensation in my throat. It's very uncomfortable. I've also been getting really random singular hiccups, which I am rather entertained by, never had that happen before because if I hiccup, it's never been just one.
Oh and by the way, I am starting to gather addresses for shower invites. I sent out a facebook email yesterday asking for them, if you didn't get one then I probably already have it. My sister had a lot already that I needed from her shower.
Last weekend we went to the cottage at Stony Lake to enjoy our 4th of July weekend with some friends and family. It turned out to be a really great weekend!! We enjoyed some fireworks around the lake and I took some sunset pictures with my camera. I will post them on FB when I can get them off my camera. Unfortunately the camera that I have is not compatible with my computer, so I can't just hook it up and get them off, I have to take the card out and put it in Andrew's old computer. But when we got home last weekend, his computer doesn't want to start up,... so not sure what to do, but I would like to get them posted so I can share them! Soon!
Hope everyone also had a great 4th of July weekend! More updates to come soon!
