I suck at this blogging thing,...

Well I don't post very often obviously, mainly because I don't ever have anything to blog about. Not that anyone really reads this anyway,.... However, here is at least one update:

 My sister Kari, is due with twins April 15th, second set of twins in my immediate family.  Hoping for one boy and one girl.  I pray that her pregnancy goes smoothly.  Can't wait to meet the new little ones.  She will be finding out what she is having in November sometime, maybe that will help my shopping a little bit.  I have been gathering things little by little, and there are not many non gender specific things out there.  Or at least that I can buy on the sale racks,.. and because she is due in the Spring, all the winter things are out right now.  So that makes it more difficult.  It will be helpful though to know what she is doing their room in.

Western is playing Notre Dame next weekend, I wish I liked football because I would so go, but my husband refuses to buy me a ticket when we both know I won't watch or pay attention LOL.  GO WMU!!! They will get slaughtered, but hey I'll still cheer them on anyway,.. afterall they are my Alma Mater.  Steve will be in town for the game, and it's always great to see him!

I pray this month goes by fast and that I will have something more to post soon.  Until then,....

It's finally summer!

Well it's been awhile since I've updated, but not too much has happened. One of my best friends that I've known since I was in diapers just had a baby on the first of June!  I still can't believe it, and baby Claire is beautiful!  I can't wait to see her again, and Kate is going to be such a good mommy.  I went to visit and she just slept in my arms the whole time!  So precious!!

My new job(s) are going well, the twins are adorable and such good babies.  I've only been watching them for a little while and they've already grown so much.

Today 3 years ago I married my high school sweetheart!!  I love him so much and I can't wait to see what the next 50 or plus years has in store for us!  He's taking me to my fav. restraunt tonight for dinner, Olive Garden! yum yum!!! I can't wait and I love spending time together just us.  Love you babe!!

It's about time!

So things are finally starting to come together and it's both exciting and overwhelming at the same time.  Seems like everything is happening at once,...I finally got my first client with first steps, which is exciting, I am just scared that I am gonna seem like I don't know what I'm doing.  The first couple times I go I will probably be really nervous, but then start to get the hang of it.  I think it will be good though!

I also got a nanny job watching twin girls who are 4 months old which I start tomorrow, and I am really excited about that too!  So now I will be working at LEAST three days a week watching them and seeing my client,.. five if I sub the other two days until schools out in June. So on top of those things I have about a million other things happening this month,....but as overwhelming as it all is, things are going good.

I hope they just keep getting better!

Here's to hoping.....

      I can't believe it was 65 degrees outside today,... I am so happy right now. Maybe I can wear flip flops soon?!! I just hope the weather just keeps getting better!! But now that it is getting nicer out, more people and animals are coming out, my dogs are driving me nuts!!  They sit at the window and whine, and then when I take them out, they don't want to run and play, and burn energy they, just want to sniff everything and bark at people,....annoying. Then they come back in and whine some more.

      Had a good couple of days subbing for my husbands aunt, she has a special ed room, and most of the kids were taking the act's, so I only had a few kids each hour, which was really nice. I would be subbing again tomorrow for her, but I have an important appointment in the morning, which I hope will bring some good news....and then I am leaving town with Rachel to go visit Lindsey for a couple of days!!!  It will be nice to get away for a couple days and have some fun,... Lord knows I need it.  I will miss my hubby though =( ,... but he got to have a guys weekend a couple of weeks ago at the cottage, so this will be my girls weekend.

Oh mr.sun, sun, mr.golden sun,.....

Three days in a row it's been sunny,... I think that's a record!!  I am excited that it's finally starting to get nicer out, I can't wait to be outside again!!  I can't wait to have barbeques,...and campfires,...go camping,... go to the cottage,...go swimming,...open the windows and get some fresh air in the house,....

titleless

I don't really have anything to say, but feel like I should update since it's been awhile. 

Went out on Friday night with some friends to Bleachers, which was a lot of fun.  I needed a fun night out to get my mind off some things, which I may say worked perfectly.  Drank rum and coke's just for everyone else's benefit since they say I get really giggly and happy when I do lol.  We sang some karaoke.... "Don't Stop Believin", my favorite song to sing on rockband.

Elroy has made himself at home here, and him and Trixy are finally starting to get along and play together.  She stills growls at him every now and then, but it's all good.

 

He loves laying on my blankets, and he's still very cuddly.. he's so cute!!

An early Valentine,....

My husband walked in this morning and said "Happy Valentines Day"





His name is figaro which I like but Andrew doesn't so we'll have to think of something together to call him,... he's only 5 months old, which means he's going to be huge since he's already the size of Trixy. He's very sweet and loving, and already adjusting well to our home.  He's laying in my lap right now purring, even with the dogs sniffing at him.  He's also watching the mouse move on my screen very carefully,..... he's very intrigued LOL

 

Here is Trixy watching him very intently and growling, hissing,.... if he didn't have so much more growing to do, I'd say they were brother and sister, they look so much alike.

The dogs just wanna play with him and are very excited there is something new here.

We got him for free off an add off craigslist, he's had all of his shots and the guys said that if we want to get him fixed that he would pay for it, he just wanted him to go to a good home.  If he didn't find him a home he'd be going to the shelter.  I am happy that we have him as an addition to the family.

Interesting,...

Well yesterday I went to the eye doctor because my eyes have been bothering me for sometime now,.. found out I still have a small prescription but I now have a slight astigmatism in both eyes, which is why it's hard for me to focus on things farther away, or just focus at all sometimes and why i've been getting headaches from it.  So I get my new glasses on tuesday or wednesday and I am sooo excited!!

I cam home from my eye appointment to find something hanging from the house,... part of the underside of the gutter, not the gutter itself, fell off and the wood and insulation underneath is all rotted,..... I don't need to say it but this is not good,.... there's always something I guess,....

I was so excited, it was so nice out yesterday, although there could have been more sunshine,... but it was 50 degrees in January!!!!!  And now, today it is SNOWING.  I want to move away, I hate the weather here,..... I mean really how much more annoying can you get,.... this is just exactly how the great lakes weather works, I should have saw it coming.....

First Blog

So I don't really know why I have this,.... but it might be fun to try it out to see if I like it.

My friend Rachel helped with the walls in the bathroom,... it is FINALLY almost done,...just a few touch-ups and it will be finished. I don't really know if I'm in love with the color, it might be a little dark, but I think it will grow on me. When it is finally finished I will post pictures,.. I only procrastinated on getting it finished for about 2 years,... I loathe the fact that the people who lived here before us used tile for EVERYTHING. GRRR.

I hate this weather,... I really want to move. Winter is most definitely my least favorite season.
