On December 15th, 2011 a 6lb 10 oz 20 inch tall little angel came into my life at 1pm on the dot. Her name is Jillian Michelle Bosler and I absolutely can't get enough of her.

I had a dr appointment on Tuesday (the 13th) and was frustrated to find out that there hadn't been any real change since they checked me two weeks before. So after complaining, I woke up on Wednesday feeling crampy and a little nautious, so not feeling well I just kinda layed around all day doing nothing. Andrew woke up and we watched a movie together and then he started to get ready for work. I had had a few contractions during the movie but they started getting farther apart and then close together again. Then around 10 pm, Andrew left for work and I tried to go to sleep thinking they would go away but timed them anyway just in case. Around 11 when the contractions didn't stop I called the on call dr because they were coming about every 5-7 min. She was in a c-section and didn't call me right away and I had to get up and start walking, drink some water and do whatever else to see if they were going to go away because I couldn't get to sleep. Finally I called again around 12:45 and talked to the nurse that was with the dr and she said if they didn't get farther apart after another hour to go ahead and go in. I called Andrew and he left work and we went and walked around Meijer and they started getting closer together. I used the bathroom and my entire mucus plug came out (tmi sorry). We left Meijer after about an hour of timing them and me not being able to walk or talk through them. We got to triage at about 3am and I was only 2 cm, but fully effaced and baby was at -1 station. (I had only been 1 cm at appointment the day before). Since I was fully effaced they admitted me, and honestly I was a little skeptical that anything was going to progress but we walked the halls, got on the labor ball and just kept moving around. But my contractions did get stronger and much closer together,...so I decided this must really be the real thing. The on call dr arrived about 7 am but had a c-section to do and so he didn't check me until about 9 or so,... but when he checked me I was 6-7cm! (And by this time I was on over 24 hours with no sleep). My birth plan was to try and do my labor without any intervention, but we all know things can change,...I started having really strong back labor and decided to take something to help take the edge off. I took half a dose not long after the dr checked me and then again when I was 8 cm. It only took about 3 hours for me to get to 10 cm, I suddenly felt the urge to push and 40 min later at exactly 1pm our beautiful baby girl was born! It still seems so surreal and I can't believe she's ours!! She's so perfect and we've waited a very long time for her! Nursing started off a little rocky but she's definitely starting to pick it up.
We will post more pictures when we can get them off our camera. Until then thank you to everyone for all the wonderful thoughts and comments and we can't wait for everyone to meet her!
