I cannot suck in my tummy anymore,... so that is baby. My stomach was pretty much this big anyway I'm sure, but it's still WEIRD.
I am feeling lots of "bubbles", not sure if it's the baby, my stomach, gas or what it is,... if it is the baby it's the first time I've felt the baby move, but I can't be sure if it really is or not! It's not at a specific time, like after I eat, and this is not something I have ever felt before. It's also really hard to even explain what it feels like,... I felt it last night while I was laying on the couch watching TV and again this morning after I woke up, and not in the same spot. I was just laying in bed and felt it. Last night when I felt it I pulled out the little heart monitor thing that my sister gave me to hopefully hear the heartbeat, but still can't hear anything. She says she never was able to hear the boys, they were just moving around too much and it's not like the one they have at the doc's, so it's not as good.
I am loving my maternity pants,... being the shape I am I have always had a hard time finding clothes to fit right, and I absolutely LOVE my maternity pants. Honestly I would wear them even not pregnant; they fit, there's no zipper, button or BELT to deal with and I am not constantly pulling them up and worrying about whether my butt crack is hanging out for everyone to see. HAHA
You know those things that you wear under pants or dresses that suck you in? They should make post pregnancy pants with those attached instead of the belly band for pregnancy. I would totally wear those and not have to worry about how my pants fit. Just have to worry about a shirt long enough to cover it up! LOL
I guess I'll just have to enjoy it while I can =)
Was reading about 12 weeks on Babyzone, and laughed out loud at the 4th dot on reasons to wait to find out the baby's sex:
Reasons to wait:
- Love surprises
- Help make the last few weeks of pregnancy bearable, not knowing
- Could have fantasies about either sex
- To annoy relatives
- Limiting exposure to baby
Love,
The Boslers

How exciting! Seeing your baby for the first time and then being able to watch him/her grow through the ultrasounds is such a wonderful experience. I remember when I first started to feel both kids' movements at first it was like little bubbles of gas...just weird things that I wouldn't normally feel...like butterflies in my tummy. The first kick was just such an out of the world experience. It was my favorite part of being pregnant...being able to feel them move around. I would often just get the giggles from it. Enjoy this wonderful time! Maybe you'll have twins next time! ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Kimmi! I can't wait to start feeling more movement!! It just puts me at ease hearing it's little heartbeat and seeing it moving around =) My sister had twins the second time around,.. so maybe! we'll have to see =)
ReplyDeleteOh and I forgot to mention....I also love and miss pregnancy pants! ;) Aren't they just the best?! These days there are such cute pairs.
ReplyDeletehaha yes they are! I love them, and they are so comfy!! The only problem I have with them is how expensive they are,..
ReplyDeleteMake sure to check out used clothing stores. I know around GR, the used kids stores sometimes have used maternity clothes for cheaper. I found a pair I loved at the Walmart in Niles once and Kohls had some great prices on them too especially when on sale.
ReplyDeleteYeah I bought a pair of Capri's on sale at Kohls, and my mom got me a pair of bermuda shorts from JCPenny on a good sale. She also got me some tops. The best deal I have found so far are tops from Old Navy, $7.50 tanks and $10 t-shirts. I didn't know if any of the walmarts around here sold stuff in stores because I have never seen it,.. maybe I'll check next time I'm there. I also got a bunch of stuff from my sister, I'll need some more jeans later =)
ReplyDeleteGap makes great maternity jeans but I got them online.
ReplyDeleteWhat great ultrasound pics! I see you go to the same group I do. They have been around a really long time and are fantastic doctors so you are in good hands. Please keep posting in your blog. I check it every few days in hopes of more news. Congratulations! Big Hugs! :)
